Effective Is Your Student Government?
(Session Length: 45 minutes to 1 hour)
     Are you one of the best in America? Before you start boasting, keep in mind that even the finest SGs in the country have lots of room for improvement. And just because you control millions in student fee monies, get quoted daily on the front page of the campus paper, or are a minor celebrity in your own mind doesn't mean that you're truly appreciated, respected, and actually get things done for those you mean to serve: your fellow students. The nation's "Super SGs" have some key characteristics in common. This is your chance to finally find out how yours stacks up against the best.

Should Student Leaders Get Paid? A Review of Student Leader's SG Salary Survey
(Session Length: 45 minutes to 1 hour)

On-line Voting In Campus Elections

(Session Length: 45 minutes to 1 hour)
Want to increase voter turnout in your next campus election, not to mention boost interest in your student government? Web voting may be the answerbut there are pitfalls. This workshop will help you decide if web voting is right for your organization, how to set it up, which companies you can hire, and also how to make sure your elections are hack-proof.

Session 6
Poster Secrets: How & Where To Hang Flyers On Your Campus

(Session Length: 45 minutes to 1 hour)
     Remember how frustrated you felt seeing a poster you'd hung just the day before covered over with a dozen other flyers or trampled by a thousand feet on the street? In this session, you'll learn new and proven ideas about how to distribute posters and flyers to publicize your organization's fund raisers, meetings, and events. You'll also pick up practical suggestions on eye-catching design, and when, where, and how to display your posters to get the best (and cheapest) exposure possible.

You'll learn how to get students to take responsibility for their work, motivate lazy staff, and squash the negativity bug before it infects your group.

Session 8
Those Dirty Little Lies: How To Stop Gossip Now

(Session Length: 45 minutes to 1 hour)
     No doubt about it—it's easy to start talking nasty behind fellow members' backs-and even harder to stop. Once gossip starts, it breeds discontent, divides a group, and slaps down morale fast. If it's already past the point of no return and distorted tales are attacking the very fabric of your organization, this session will give you proven strategies to get your group back on track.

Session 9
How To Get Elected On Your Campus

(Session Length: 45 minutes to 1˝ hours)
     Based on the book of the same name, this session will give you practical and proven tips on how to win your next campaign-and do it ethically. The tips are from 25 student body presidents nationwide, at all types of schools, who give the inside story on how they developed a platform, designed campaign materials, recruited volunteers, raised money, and got students out to the polls on election day.
